I get error 800F0922 when installing KB3022345 update.

I've tried it both automatically and manually, and always get the same error.

Some advice about this?

Try this:

  1. Uninstall KB3045999
  2. It will ask you to restart windows, but DON'T RESTART
  3. Install KB3022345
  4. Restart Windows
  5. Install KB3045999
  6. Restart Windows

This worked for me.  Good Luck.

Another one with the same problem and same error since April.

    Regards.

    I answer myself:

What I have done to solve the Error 800F0922 is my Windows 8.1 is...

    1. Turn off my antivirus (Kaspersky in my case)
    2. Look for the KB3022345 update in the installed updates directory (because although I was receiving the message that the update KB3022345 was still pending, in fact it was already installed on my PC)
    3. Uninstall it
    4. Don´t restart the computer when asked
    5. Look for updates in Windows Update
    6. Install, once again, update KB3022345
    7. Restart the computer

Problem solved. At least this procedure worked for me.

    Hope you find it useful.

    Thanks Nodrogg33.

    Regards.

PS: I use "Windows Update Notification Tool" program in Windows 8.1 in order to have again the icon of W7 that indicates the availability of new updates and it was being a little disturbing having the icon permanently coloured.

    Hi,

For all those that have installed the fix and seems ok now.. Have you checked what is installed and what isn't?? before I did the fix I check to see what had been installed from the 22 updates and 3038314, 3044374, 3045685, 3042553, 30457755, 3042085, 3045999...states waiting for restart...On doing the fix and checking again they are all still there pending restart including the 3045999.

Is there another fix to get these pending updates installed correctly???

    Thx Len
