I get error 800F0922 when installing KB3022345 update.

I've tried it both automatically and manually, and always get the same error.

Some advice about this?

Try this:

  1. Uninstall KB3045999
  2. It will ask you to restart windows, but DON'T RESTART
  3. Install KB3022345
  4. Restart Windows
  5. Install KB3045999
  6. Restart Windows

This worked for me.  Good Luck.

KB3022345 is an optional, non-security update (yes, even though it may be offered as an Important update). Feel free to hide it & move on with your life.

I know this is an optional / important update....I thought I saw somewhere, (I have read that many items for this problem ) you had to update this as you will not be able to update future security updates???? Any how MS should sort this problem..

I have already been through this with Microsoft and had them remote take over my pc. he checked and said the reason why it is failing is because I already installed this update on the 18th under a different  number and it's a Microsoft error and to just hide it and he is going to inform his superiors to remove it from windows update. I think he said it was KB3004545
