I get error 800F0922 when installing KB3022345 update.

I've tried it both automatically and manually, and always get the same error.

Some advice about this?

Try this:

  1. Uninstall KB3045999
  2. It will ask you to restart windows, but DON'T RESTART
  3. Install KB3022345
  4. Restart Windows
  5. Install KB3045999
  6. Restart Windows

This worked for me.  Good Luck.

I also have the issue as well. I have tried manually installing it and also I have run DISM on my machine as well to make sure there are no issues with the component store.

Why can't Microsoft test fully their updates before they try and deliver them to the Windows community every month. They should have a six sigma quality program in place so these issues can't happen .

I know that it is an optional update but even those should be tested fully before they are shipped.

When is Microsoft going to deliver a solution to this issue that they have created? This is the third time in under 6 months that Microsoft has shipped updates that have issues with them.

Why is it, that every time MS roll out their large monthly updates, there is always a problem??? 22 updates this time...We have seen this time and time again people having to roll back or worse still format their hard drives to sort these problems out......Why on earth can't they split large roll outs and have say 11 one week/day 11 the next etc...At least we will have a chance and see what is causing the problems....Come on MS sort this out now!! Don't leave it to your community to sort everything for you....

Have you been already tried? The following thing. ( "out of kb3022345")

    1. You uninstall "KB3045999" first.

              ↓

    1. Next "KB3022345" is installed (It doesn't restart here!)

              ↓

    1. "KB3022345" is installed just as it is (It restarts for the first time here!)

              ↓

    1. It's confirmed once again whether it "is installed" by "the renewal history".

It's broken somewhere. "Failure" is "registry" with this.

    I'll wait by everyone. "Microsoft".

※ I'm sorry. "By literal translation"....

Please spread! If it "can be translated" into each country!
