Try this:
- Uninstall KB3045999
- It will ask you to restart windows, but DON'T RESTART
- Install KB3022345
- Restart Windows
- Install KB3045999
- Restart Windows
This worked for me. Good Luck.

I get error 800F0922 when installing KB3022345 update.
I've tried it both automatically and manually, and always get the same error.
Some advice about this?

I have been trying t get Microsoft to help me with failed updates. I had 98 failed updates The last successful update was in March. I contacted MS support. The could do not fix it. For the past few days i have been on the phone to them many times. They suggested that they reinstall 8.1. I allowed them knowing that i would loose some programs but I had my documents and other stuff backed up. 8.1 was reinstalled to day after a couple failures. My files are in a mess but still there. MS office was uninstalled and now it cant be installed again I'm getting an error 1935. MS tried as well. After all this I still have updates that failed to install.
I am back to where I started but without MS office and a lot of tidying up to do and 98 updates that I'm afraid to try and install, if they don't I will probably throw the lot out the window. I tried one update and it failed.
I'm on the phone holding for the past 30 mins this is after been transferred after holding for an hour.
Any miracle workers out there

Hi,
KB 3022345 has been updated with the information about SFC unintentionally flagged specific files as corrupted.
The two files are marked as static files in the update. When an advanced user runs the System File Checker Tool (sfc.exe), the files are unintentionally flagged as corrupted. There is no impact or actual corruption on a device running this update, and a later service update will resolve this issue.
Hi,
Thanks for getting back to us on this issue...Lets hope this update works for everyone...Can't wait to install W10..
Thx again len

Hi lenjanes,
Yep, still a problem for me - especially as i had to go into hospital, a couple of days after reporting the problem with this ...22345 Update - and making my feelings known to someone i believed was from Windows. A friend has been doing the Updates since (the 2nd Tuesday ones), and the ones that have popped up since (10 optional a few days ago, plus 1 important - he got the 10, but not the other - and after the restart, there was no sign of the important Update - and he didn't make a note of the code!)
So, all in all - it's a bit of a conundrum regarding the Updates (and the e-mail from Windows) - plus all the multitude of ideas / possible fixes that other people on the forum have put forth.
As regards whether it's worth worrying about....? I think only Windows have the answer to that - and their 'Help Section' honestly seems to be a waste of time and energy. My hope is that all this mess they've created will be addressed in their next (hopefully very soon) 'Announcement'. - Or another possibilty, find a reputable local Computer Dealer, and ask them for a quote, and see if they can sort it out for a decent sum.
The best of luck in any event - and here's hoping we (and other users) get sorted!
