2016-08-13T20:04:24+00:00 Echoing this comment, doing this procedure fixed some problems at the expense of having to reinstall programs that I use often. But it did not fix the main issue with Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer or the Solitaire Collection.
I feel that MS has to come up with an update that fixes everything that got screwed up before the Windows 10 1511 update. Mainly multimedia and present hardware and drivers. Prior to that, every thing worked fine.
PS: What's the difference between Google Chrome (which works) and Edge? There lies the key.
The ball's in your court.

In this case this issue might be related to user profile corruption. Create a new user account and check if the same issue occurs with the new user as well.

Hello Sangeeta, I created a local user account in windows 10 and still am unable to run Microsoft Solitaire Collection. Interestingly enough, I am able to run some other Xbox games such as Mahjong, Jackpot and Bingo. Do you have any other suggestions?
