    Hi,

I would suggest you to perform the steps mentioned below and check if the issue occurs.

    Step 1: Run App Troubleshooter.

Note: The troubleshooter automatically fixes some issues that might prevent your apps from running, including suboptimal screen resolution and incorrect security or account settings.

    1. Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and press Enter.
    2. Click on ‘View All’ on the top left pane.
    3. Click on “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.

Step 2: Follow the steps provided in the given Microsoft help article if you haven't performed yet.

    Troubleshoot problems with an app

I would suggest you to provide the event viewer log files to find out the exact cause that is causing the issue.

Follow the steps to collect the log files:

    • Go to the Start Screen, type in Event Viewer. This will bring up the Event Viewer tile, Click to open the event viewer.
    • In the left pane, expand out Windows Logs. Click on Application log and highlight the first event in the log and use your arrow keys to scroll down.
    • Most of your event will be Information. You may see Yellow Warningsor Red Errors. If you see any red error, you can double click on it to bring it up and copy the contents to a document.

Please reply us with these information and the current status of your computer we will be happy to assist you further.

I have run all these steps.  The trouble shooter did not detect any problems, but the game does not launch.  And it is ONLY solitaire.  This is PREINSTALLED and does not allow for an UN install.  The other games in the pack, like Jigsaw, Mahjong, and Jackpot, all launch and play fine.  I'm at a complete standstill with Solitaire, and it is the game I played constantly.  I can go online to the website and see a "play" button, but the game does not launch from there, either, while the other games do.

Same with all three of my computers.  Actually, I can usually get it work once after re-installing but not after that.  Most frustrating!  The kids they employ at the Microsoft help desk in some 3rd world country, are way out if their depth.  They haven't a clue.
