It is pretty hard to install any apps from the Windows Store when it will not even open. I click on the store icon and for a micro second it looks like it will open and then closes. The same thing happens when I try to play Microsoft solitaire collection. I just installed windows 10. I have tried all three of the suggestions listed above and nothing works.

2016-06-14T01:21:52+00:00 Brilliant, I know you're trying to be helpful Jim, but I don't like to be insignificant statistically or otherwise. Additionally, I didn't ask Microsoft to install Windows 10, they did it themselves. That makes them responsible for making it work - if that's difficult across the myriad of computer variants, tough, if they cant handle it they shouldn't have done it!
And I still cant play solitaire! How simple should that be.
+1 to that. I have had windows 10, since the first release, July 29, 2015. Windows 7 pro to windows 10 pro. Up to today, happy and problem free. No new updates showing since the big one last November, so why did the solitaire just up and quit? this is not rocket science Microsoft, so why can you not at least find a solution?

2016-06-13T10:15:22+00:00 I managed to uninstall the Microsoft Solitaire Collection, and requested the reinstall from Windows Store, but now the install simply hangs as it sits there ''starting download" and getting nowhere!

2016-05-30T23:37:38+00:00 Third, internet searches produce over 100,000 inquiries about Microsoft Solitaire Collection no longer working.
This is just not true. 100,000+ hits does not equal 100,000+ inquiries, and the number of internet complaints probably doesn't come close to that number. Even if it did, with there being somewhere in the area of 300,000,000 installations at this point, 100,000 is hardly a statistically significant or surprising number. Nearly all of the seemingly intractable problems with Windows 10 can be cured with a clean installation.
