Is Windows Media Player still available in Windows 10?
It is still there.
Press Windows key + R
Type: wmplayer.exe
Hit Enter
Right click and pin it to your Taskbar.
The CD and DVD burning wizard is still availale.

If windows 10 does not have a media player, how will we burn CD's?

Win10 does have Windows media player [it's media center that has disappeared]

2016-06-29T18:24:33+00:00 Hello nbray6. The disk may not have been as "blank" as you think. In the older Windows versions, when the os encountered a new disk, it "knew" about mediaplayer, so the os gave you the option of formatting the disk either for data or audio. W/10 gives a couple of new-disk options and one of them looks like format-for-audio, but I think it really isn't, it's just another data format option. Ignore them, and just do the mediaplayer burn to the unformatted disk.

2016-05-19T15:59:45+00:00 You burn DVDs the same way as you burn CDs.
Put the DVD in the drive, open File Manager, drag from files over to the icon for the DVD burner/player.
A window will open that asks what kind of a disk you want to burn...then it burns the files you drug over to it.
What's missing on Windows 10 is the app Windows Movie Maker, which you may have been using to put music and pictures together on a DVD.
To do that, you will have to buy another app to replace Movie Maker. Expect to pay about $50.
I bought CybperLink Power Director. It has a "quick" option that allows for pictures and music. It is not anywhere as easy or useful as Windows Movie Maker, though.
It is very unfortunate that Windows does not offer the original Movie Maker for Windows 10. I would have paid $50 to get it...Why they cancelled it completely is anybody's guess.
