Netflix Error 0x80070057

For the passed few days I have been trying to get into my Netflix app, however the app refused to load. So I decided to uninstall it and then reinstall to try and fix the problem. But every time I try to reinstall the app I receive the error code 0x80070057. Any idea how to fix this? I am currently using Windows 8.1 and waiting for my Windows 10 update.

    Brilliant. Used as a  Netflix not loading on windows 8.1 solution for 32-bit and this solution is the only thing that worked after all the various other solutions I found had all failed.   Very helpful indeed.

    This problem can be solved easily for the time beign by just downloading an app that installs those two DLLs.

    1. Open the Windows Store App
    2. Search for Flixster
    3. Install the App Flixster
    4. Wait for the installation to finish
    5. Then search for Netflix
    6. Install Netflix

    We had the same problem with Netflix on of our own virtual machines. So we can’t be sure this solution works for everybody we did wanted to share it with you all.
