Netflix Error 0x80070057

For the passed few days I have been trying to get into my Netflix app, however the app refused to load. So I decided to uninstall it and then reinstall to try and fix the problem. But every time I try to reinstall the app I receive the error code 0x80070057. Any idea how to fix this? I am currently using Windows 8.1 and waiting for my Windows 10 update.

    As I posted above, installing Flixster actually solve my problem. It may not work for everyone so the other solution might work for them.

    I appreciate R3N1LD43D taking the time to help others. For me, it is a matter of personal preference and security not to install files posted by users when I have no way of knowing if they've been modified. Others may not be so concerned - that is their call.

    Regardless of how it gets fixed, I'm glad this thread is producing some tangible results after I wasted an enormous amount of time looking for solutions. I wish Microsoft and Netflix would bother to fix the things they break. This sort of thing happens frequently with the Netflix plugin for media center, as well.
