I have been using the windows live writer for years and today it wont let me post into my blogger blog.
The first error was stating that my user name and password was incorrect so I changed it. It still didn't work and still stating the same issue. I clean/repaired up the windows essentials like other forms said. Now the error message I get is blogger return the following error: Notfound: not found. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it keeps saying the same issue.

That workaround was how I was logging on to WLW before, EZ Biker. But now that stopped working, too. And nothing will get it to log on anymore.
As JulieAlexandres has pointed out, this "solution" predates the problem and will not fix anything. In fact, I never had any problem logging in. Save yourself the hassle. We need a real solution, and I don't mind a lengthy workaround, but this is not it. :-(

Hopefully Microsoft and Google will work together to get this resolved. I'd HATE to have to go through all these steps at the link on all the various blogs I have. :-(((

Got that response from a few others too. Some of my IT friends think everyone will need to sit tight and hopefully let Microsoft and Google sort this all out. Or... if you just HAVE to post something; (I posted about the issues at my blog today) use the blogger client for now. Not as Great / friendly as WLW; but you can... get posts published.
If I hear anything else; I'll pass it on here. :-D
The problem is worse as I tried all other free blogging software and none of it work as it all uses the same login that has worked for years so no blogging software works not just Live Writer
