1- Although the GPU and  CPU  temperatures are not high at all(screen shot below), I found out sometimes I have been encountering the error message below specifically when trying loading websites with Firefox browser. Even while the website loading with Firefox is not responding, this error below appears. And once this error disappears, then the website opens well.

"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered"

Yes, I have checked my HP manufacture web, and I didn't find any newer driver of GPU than my driver installed.

Also, Firefox has only Skype add-on added. Do you think this is the reason. But if so, I would be facing with Google Chrome and MS IE since this 'Skype add-on' added as well. Check to see if you have the latest version of Firefox (version 47 I think)

2- do you know why only the fan removed from the new fan/heat sink assembly was fitted to my old fan/heatsink?

3- From the screen shots below, do you think you can distinguish the difference between the  old fan/heatsink and new fan/heatsink (why is the new fan/heat sink not fitted to the old one?).

Although I have sent the spare part number of my old fan/heat sink to the seller before purchasing the fan/heat sink that I need, unfortunately the new fan/ heat sink assembly purchased from eBay was not fitted to my motherboard.(i.e. it wasn't mounted to the CPU and GPU). However,  only the fan was similar to my old fan. So, I took out(removed) my old fan from my old heat sink, and after taking  the new fan from my new heat sink, I installed the new fan in-place my old heat sink very well. GPU heat sink looks different

4-  As you said it is a common practice to have a pre-applied pad of thermal compound on the new heat sink.  So, when I apply new Thermal Grease/paste onto the CPU and GPU surfaces, and mount the one heat sink to the CPU and GPU, then the mount of thermal compound would exceed the required limit.

The two compounds are of different types and using both may reduce the heat transfer from the CPU to the cooling assembly. The result would be higher temperatures. Use on or the other but not both !

So, I will need to do new thermal compound onto CPU and GPU  surfaces . So, the thermal compounds will be definitely  different types.

So, as long as I don't know what kind of thermal compound pre-applied on new fan/heat sink, how to apply new thermal compound onto CPU and GPU surfaces.

Or otherwise, you either want me to only mount the new fan/ heat sink onto the CPU and GPU without applying any new thermal compound onto CPU and GPU, or you want me to remove the pre-applied thermal compound from the contact surfaces to CPU and GPU on the new heat sink and apply new thermal compound.

2- I was thinking about cutting off appendages of new GPU heat sin hoping to get the new fan/ heats sink corresponds to CPU and GPU.  But also it will still not correspond to GPU on motherboard since if CPU heat sink corresponds to CPU, then GPU heat sink doesn't correspond to GPU, and vise versa.

I would not make anymore changes. Look at your core temperatures when you first posted over a year ago and compare them with your current results.
