'Battery Alert' appears before the 'press 'ESC' key for Start-up menu.', however, ' Cooling Fan Alert' appears after 'press 'ESC' key for Start-up menu.'

Hi,

First of all: I know that I have been having a problem with my HP Laptop Battery, and with its cooling Fan.

However, I am now wondering what detected this error below as long as it was shown even before  the notification saying 'the press 'ESC' key for Start-up menu.' Thus, if the BIOS detected that there was a problem with the HP Battery storage', then this error should have been listed after 'press 'ESC' key for Start-up menu.' was passed.

'HP Battery Alert:    The system has detected the storage capacity of the battery stated below to be very low. For optimal performance, this battery may need to be replaced.'

That alert lasted about 15 seconds, and then the 'press 'press 'ESC' key for Start-up menu.' is shown.

Next: This is error below showed me::

'The system didn't detect that a cooling fan is operating correctly'

I know that BIOS detected that a problem with 'Cooling Fan' since the Alert of error was shown after passing 'press 'ESC' key for Start-up menu.'

Any comments would be highly appreciated

    I think replacing the CPU fan is the least expensive and first thing you should try.

    I would not use paint thinner to clean the CPU, see if you can find that alcohol I mentioned (try a ****, doctors office, etc.)

    Clean the CPU and heat sink using a cloth and the alcohol. Then use a fresh piece of cloth and more alcohol to remove any residue that your eyes may not be able to see.

    Apply the thermal paste and then secure the heat sink so that there is no movement (not loose) and fan and then turn on your PC.

    Could you please read my points below and comment on each of them?

    1- As said before, I have never ever cleaned the CPU or GPU surfaces with paint thinner at all. I have cleaned the old thermal compound by applying new thermal compound on the old to let it wet, and then removed the old by a fresh piece of cloth. I have only cleaned the fan/ and heatsink vents with paint thinner. 

    2- I really have been never ever familiar with Isopropyl alcohol, although I googled it. But all what I found is information. However, even if I have seen it in the market I don't know if this is Isopropyl alcohol since it might that Isopropyl alcohol is called by another name in my local Yemeni markets. In which stores can I find it?

    Yes, check your CPU and motherboard specifications to see which or both.

    Again look in the BIOS for FAN / Thermal settings if available.

    As said before, my BIOS has basic options, in which there are only virtualization can be enabled or disabled, and some other options, but  no Fan/Thermal settings can be set up.

    What do you want me to see in my motherboard/CPU specifications? I only have general specs of my PC. There is no information about motherboard in my general Specs of my PC.

    There is nothing to see in your screen shots except the high core / System temperature as shown in Red.

    Rubbing Alcohol is another name. I have no idea where you can find it in your country, ask a Doctor.

    Cleaning the old compound by applying new compound will not work, you need to remove "ALL" the old compound leaving a thoroughly clean surface on which you can apply the new compound.
