Windows Mobile Device Center Compatibility with Windows 10

Is or will Windows Mobile Device Center be compatible with Windows 10?  There are some legacy devices that require sync with WMDC and then there are security personnel that do not allow devices to connect to their Wi-Fi but rather connect them via USB using WMDC.  I was able to get WMDC to work successfully on Windows 8 and 8.1.  So far I have not heard any news in regards to Windows 10.  Looking forward to hearing results and or news regarding this.  Thx everyone.

Yeah, and your point is? Sync Center does absolutely nothing to help connect mobile devices to the PC.

But where is it now?  I just installed the latest Windows 10 updates, 1709 KB4058043, and am no longer able to sync with my devices...

I have had my machine rebased by Microsoft twice now and for a bit as you say the Windows Mobile Device 6.1 or 6.5 or whatever version I have worked.  I was able to sync documents but no way could I synch the calendar and my contacts.  It would be nice if Microsoft would make this work permanently for those of us who have these devices and don't need to upgrade to the latest and greatest techy toy because these mobile devices work and suit our needs just perfectly.  Microsoft please hear our cry for a permanent fix!!!!!

No idea if you solved this, but i had a similar issue and switched off all my anti virus for a few mins and then added the code. turned off the pc and back on again, restarted the anti virus ( ran a  full scan just in case!) and bingo!

The unfortunate news is that as there seems to be a new issue with every win 10 update, we are only a few months away from a new problem. With microsoft dumping the whole windows 10 mobile thing as well as support for older win 6 and 6.5 going next year i believe.... i see alot of people having alot of very serious issues. We run wasp software here and they just can't answer me when i ask what are they doing as their software will soon become unusable with most windows systems... Alot of places are switching to android based devices and software.
