Windows Mobile Device Center Compatibility with Windows 10

Is or will Windows Mobile Device Center be compatible with Windows 10?  There are some legacy devices that require sync with WMDC and then there are security personnel that do not allow devices to connect to their Wi-Fi but rather connect them via USB using WMDC.  I was able to get WMDC to work successfully on Windows 8 and 8.1.  So far I have not heard any news in regards to Windows 10.  Looking forward to hearing results and or news regarding this.  Thx everyone.

Sync Center is still there in Windows 10 (Windows key + X > click Control Panel)

    The following two keys has worked for several different clients using Mobile Device Center on their Windows 10 machines.  I haven't seen it not work yet!  It appears to be a full solution for my scenario.  

    Install Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1

    32 bit ver

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14

    64 bit ver

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3182

    Add the following two reg keys in Cmd Prompt or PowerShell and then open RegEdit to confirm all is well

    REG ADD HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RapiMgr /v SvcHostSplitDisable /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

    REG ADD HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WcesComm /v SvcHostSplitDisable /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

    Reboot the computer.  This has been working consistently for every machine so far when the symptom is the software opens briefly and then soft-crashes to the screen.

    Thanks I tried it and it did not seem to do anything.

    Did you try it with a PPC / WM 5 or WM 6 device?

    I am using WMDC with and without compatibility mode but it cannot even be bothered to open when a PPC is connected or when it is started manually.

    When trying to enter these two keys in command prompt and power shell, I get ACCESS DENIED. How do I get around that?

    I had the same issues after the 1709 Windows 10 upgrade.

    I found that if I change the security login of the WMI service to a local account with full access it allowed mu Windows Mobile Device Centre to work;

    Step 1 - Uninstall WMDC

    Step 2 - Set security access on the WMI service;

    Step 3 - Re-install WMDC (Windows Mobile Device Centre)

    This should work.
