Sync Center is still there in Windows 10 (Windows key + X > click Control Panel)
Windows Mobile Device Center Compatibility with Windows 10
Is or will Windows Mobile Device Center be compatible with Windows 10? There are some legacy devices that require sync with WMDC and then there are security personnel that do not allow devices to connect to their Wi-Fi but rather connect them via USB using WMDC. I was able to get WMDC to work successfully on Windows 8 and 8.1. So far I have not heard any news in regards to Windows 10. Looking forward to hearing results and or news regarding this. Thx everyone.

2018-03-06T13:37:18+00:00 the Windows Mobile Device Center and Sync Center are two different things with two different purposes. The mobile device center lets you connect with and configure mobile devices running Windows such as RF Scanners. The Sync Center syncs files from your PC to the server.
RoySerna asked about the Device center. How is showing him the sync center helpful?
RoySerna- I'm having the same issue. Upgraded to Windows 10 and installed Mobile Device Center but still troubleshooting to get it to work.

2018-01-30T18:30:01+00:00 I have a similar problem. WMDC will sync files but fails to sync Outlook Contacts & Calendar. I thought I might try by setting it to transfer all my contacts & calendar as if it was an initial sync. All it did was wipe the contacts and calendar from my PDA and then fail. Total mess up!!

2018-01-30T17:16:52+00:00 O.k. I managed to add the registry keys and the PC with win10 sees and acknowledges the PPC and they start the synchronization process but then I get an error and sadly the process stops here. On a dual boot win7 synchronising is no problem at all.
