Is or will Windows Mobile Device Center be compatible with Windows 10? There are some legacy devices that require sync with WMDC and then there are security personnel that do not allow devices to connect to their Wi-Fi but rather connect them via USB using WMDC. I was able to get WMDC to work successfully on Windows 8 and 8.1. So far I have not heard any news in regards to Windows 10. Looking forward to hearing results and or news regarding this. Thx everyone.

2018-03-26T12:15:23+00:00 I had the same problem, I updated the computers with Windows 10 and this stopped working Windows Mobile Center. but searching the web a bit I found the WMDC-Helper.exe program at http://www.junipersys.com/Juniper-Systems-Rugged-Handheld-Computers/support/Knowledge-Base/Support-Knowledge-Base-Topics/ Desktop-Connection-ActiveSync-or-Windows-Mobile-Device-Center / WMDC-in-Windows-10 and returned to work the program without problems which was great relief because in the company it is of vital importance the use of it. I use it for my Trimble TSCe TAB for GPS. first --- install WMDC as windows vista SP2 compatibility, then install WMDC-helper as administrator, once done, just restart your PC and enjoy. Thanks to Mario Vega Cervantes for the post.
The WMDC-Helper.exe was the solution for us. We had 3 machines Lenovo Yoga 910 that we recently purchased and up until this had been unsuccessful to get any WM device to be visible thru WMDC. We had tried everything prior to this post without any success.

2018-03-21T17:55:50+00:00 Not sure how I did it, but now in Windows 10 when I plug in my HP Ipaq rx4240 with the 6.5.1 Windows Mobile Device (or the last version that Microsoft created and has out there), the Windows Mobile Device opens up and synchronizes just my files from the Ipaq. I cannot in the Windows Mobile Device, under Mobile Device Settings, Change Content Sync Settings click on the Calendar and the Contact check boxes. The only ones that are checked are the Mobile Favorites and Files. All the other check boxes I cannot click on and check it. I have gone into the Ipaq itself when it is not connected to my desktop computer into ActiveSync and under my computer name it won't let me check the Calendar and Contacts either. Can someone help me with figuring out how to do get that piece to work again? I don't know why it unchecked itself a few years ago (I may have done something inadvertently) and now I can't get it checked again. If I could get that to allow me to check and uncheck and recheck then I will be back in business and be a happy, happy camper. Right now I just go into Outlook and update manually and then update the Ipaq for Calendar and Contacts manually. Pain in the rear. Thanks.
