Windows Mobile Device Center Compatibility with Windows 10

Is or will Windows Mobile Device Center be compatible with Windows 10?  There are some legacy devices that require sync with WMDC and then there are security personnel that do not allow devices to connect to their Wi-Fi but rather connect them via USB using WMDC.  I was able to get WMDC to work successfully on Windows 8 and 8.1.  So far I have not heard any news in regards to Windows 10.  Looking forward to hearing results and or news regarding this.  Thx everyone.

Sync Center is still there in Windows 10 (Windows key + X > click Control Panel)

    I had the same issues after the 1709 Windows 10 upgrade.

    I found that if I change the security login of the WMI service to a local account with full access it allowed mu Windows Mobile Device Centre to work;

    Step 1 - Uninstall WMDC

    Step 2 - Set security access on the WMI service;

    Step 3 - Re-install WMDC (Windows Mobile Device Centre)

    This should work.

    What a useless tech!  Have you tried to sync Outlook contacts & calendar on an android smart phone.  For my Sony Xperia AX1 Ultra as far as I can work out I have to purchase a third party app.

    Amen to that!   I can't even synch the documents anymore after Microsoft had to reinstall my Windows 10 Operating system.   You are correct, they could care less about us small users with these devices that perfectly fit our needs.  At the Microsoft Store the Tech had the audacity to tell me I should have all phone numbers, addresses and email addresses from my outlook address books on my smartphone!  Really???  Once upon a time I was able to sync the documents now THAT doesn't even happen.  The Mobile Device Center spins and spins and won't open.   Am going to try Kevin M's solution and see where it takes me.   I am hoping it then syncs the calendar and contacts.   What a pain -- have to make sure when I update Outlook address books that I manually update by HP Ipaq!

    Since the people who work/support for Microsoft are to ignorant to figure it out the first suggestion worked for me after a clean install.
