Hi,

i have a cellphone  Nokia 6300 and Nokia PC Suite does not work on Windows 10 32-bit.

When i connect cellphone and PC via USB cable,PC doesn't recognize it at all.

From another side,PC Suite works fine on Windows 7 32-bit.

PC Suite version is 7.1.180.94. I have tried another version too ( 3.8.54 ) but it's the same thing.

Use Mass memory or Media transfer mode instead of the default Nokia Suite USB mode. Change the mode in the phone menu Settings > Connectivity > USB. This will let you copy files between the phone and Windows 10.

If you want to sync data to Nokia Suite, try connecting the phone and Windows 10 via the Bluetooth connection instead of USB (if Bluetooth is supported by your PC). If the Bluetooth connection is properly established, you can use it for connecting and syncing your phone with Nokia Suite.

    Its SOOOO frustrating....

I used to connect my E71 via PC Suite to transfer my photos & block delete my messages... it worked fab in windows 7.....

But now... nothing.... it will recognise my phone, but says its connected in a non compatible way!

Noticed windows 10 has a built in "phone companion"... but its only for windows, android or iphone/ipad..... hmmmmm

Nokia PC Suite is used with old Symbian and Series 40 phones.

    • You cannot use Nokia PC Suite with a Lumia or newer Nokia Asha phones.

If you have a Lumia phone, use the Zune PC app (Lumia 505, 510, 610, 710, 800, or 900) or the Windows Phone app (all other Lumia phones) to sync music, videos, and pictures, and get the latest updates. For more info, go to www.windowsphone.com.

I have a Nokia E71 phone.... it worked fine with Nokia PC Suite & also Nokia Suite  (i have both installed) when i had windows 7..... but since installing windows 10.... neither will work properly.... i have done as suggested by clicking in my programs, choosing "change" & clicking "repair"... on everything "nokia" that i have on the laptop.... but despite doing this (shutting down & restarting after the updates) neither suite recognise the phone.... all it says is "phone connected in incompatible mode"

For some reason I did not give up the "Bluetooth track" for syncronizing.

And I'm back on track again. But with Win7Pro64-bit, not Win10. (Which I for some reason liked !!)

I'll try to recap my procedure if it useful for others with a similar problem:

    1. Uninstalled Win10
    2. Reinstalled Win7Pro64bit
    3. Uninstalled/Reinstalled NokiaSuite
    4. Reinstalled the Bluetooth Adapter programs and Adapter Drivers for my PC. (Win7, not Win8.x)
    5. I added a new Bluetooth Unit = Nokia808Pureview
    6. Waited for at least 2 hours (!), while my PC was working with Windows Update via Internet for all the correct BluetoothDrivers. (Yes, I have a 125/125 Mbs Fiber Network at home!!)

    RESULT:

    1. I am still not able to use the USB Cable.
    2. But now I am able to syncronize (the way I prefer to "transfer data") via Bluetooth.
