Hi All,

I am getting recurring BSOD errors on my Desktop. There are no recent hardware / software changes / additions other than windows updates.

Please help me with this.

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit - 8GB DDR3 RAM (with all latest Microsoft updates installed)

Were you running the Microsoft Safety scanner, when this occurred? Please run driver verifier (DV) per the instructions in the link below.

Note: Make sure to read and remember the steps to reset DV in the event of a crash, and post a link to the newly generated crash dump here.

ZoneAlarm or VPV Checkpoint is still there! Please remove it as previously suggested.

Hi,

Sorry for responding late - I was out of station for a few days.

I tried uninstalling Bitdefender and replaced with Trend Micro - the number of BSODs reduced (in fact there weren't any till yesterday). However, I encountered another error yesterday.

For the record both Bit Defender and Checkpoint were providing a software firewall so you were duplicating this facility. The System Information file you uploaded was actually the output from Speccy which is something different. They do provide similar information but they are not identical.
