Windows RT upgrade to Windows 10

Hi,

I have recently bought a Lumia 2520 tab that works on Windows RT 8.1.

I wanted to know if this Windows RT can be upgraded to Windows 10. If yes, then it would be really great. Else I will have regret for buying an operating system that has no future.

    LCRT, Thank you.... It does seem that Microsoft haven't thought through their product lifecycle for RT, or have decided not to tell us customers. It would be great if Microsoft would set out a lifecycle in the same way they have for petty much every other operating system they have developed and rolled out.

    Can anyone from Microsoft give anymore light on the future of RT?

    I read that the additional Widows 10 features would be added to RT this month.

    Do you, or anyone know, whether this is true and if not, when the additional features will be added.

    they're only going to change the lock scree and the start menu - which will probably ruin it, as we don't need a stupid desktop style start menu on a great touch tablet

    It was stated that Windows RT will NOT get Windows 10 in January this year and as far as we know that is still the case. What Microsoft have said is some of the features in Windows 10 will be provided for RT but that stops a long way short of a full blown OS upgrade.

    It still leaves questions as to when and precisely what?

    There are reports that Microsoft will be offering an upgrade of Windows RT to Windows 10 this month (September 15).

    Is this true? If not please can you offer an update on the statement given 6+ months ago?
