Error 0x800F0244 is listed on Microsoft Website as - SPAPI_E_SIGNATURE_OSATTRIBUTE_MISMATCH <br>- 0x800F0244 The software was tested for compliance with Windows Logo requirements on a different version of Windows, and may not be compatible with this version. I have already cleared the SoftwareDistribution folder at least twice, the update will not go away. I have since hidden it. BTW, I have a 3rd generation (Ivy Bridge) i5-3570K processor on this machine. I have 2 other machines with Intel processors (a Sandy Bridge Celeron with no discreet graphics, and a Haswell Refresh Pentium G3258 with a Radeon HD 7750 discreet card) all running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, and I haven't seen this update yet for those. Edit: same update appeared for my Celeron machine as well. I hid that too.

Hello All... I also had the same issue, might be an issue with windows update itself. I suggest going to the Mfg's website and downloading the driver there. My issue was with an intel hd3000 driver. Went to the following website: http://www.intel.com/p/en\_US/support/detect?iid=dc\_iduu Download the automatic update tool and go from there. Worked for me. Hope this helps. -RoamTek

The issue is human error with whomever handles pushing out updates via WU. Simply right click and hide update to prevent the driver from showing. There are some 3rd party drivers that are okay to pull from WU without worrying about them, and display drivers are not one of them due to a myriad of reasons. It's even more crucial you pull driver updates from the OEM (not PC OEM, but the OEM of the specific hardware component) for integrated graphics drivers and graphics card drivers (the latter due to frequent updates, former due to tying into the chipset and CPU). On a slightly related note, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea for those who haven't run component cleanup in a while to run it: dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

It's been almost a week now. Nothing new? I have hidden the update and tried updating manually from Intel.com The 32X driver won't install giving the error Minimum requirements not met. And the 64X is working. Just installing the same 9.17 I have! Even when it's 15.28.24 I tried uninstalling the driver (Deleting the old driver) and reinstalling, same thing 9.17 I'm worried this might affect my Windows 10 upgrade next month. Please help

I just discovered something! It is running the latest update! The one I had was 9.10.3347 Jan 2014 I downloaded 9.17.4429 from intel and installed it. When I went to %windir%\softwaredistribution\download and checked the driver igdlh64.inf it was 9.17.442! How to force Windows to recognize that I have the latest update?

Hello All...

I also had the same issue, might be an issue with windows update itself.
