If you have no issues with the MSN App for Windows Phone App but simply want to learn how to use the MSN Weather WP App, please go to **MSN Weather Help**

This Help hub page serves as a means for the MSN Weather Engineering team to also interact with our end users on issues they are encountering with the Apps and the Weather site on www.msn.com in addition to also communicating known issues.

Are you seeing inaccurate weather conditions in the MSN Weather App?

The MSN Weather team has received feedback from users of our Apps Windows & Windows Phone platform as well as the MSN Weather website  about inaccurate weather conditions being reported ranging from Incorrect location detection (Home or Current), Inaccurate Current conditions (precipitation, temperature, wind etc.) or Forecast issues. Thanks for the feedback - we appreciate it very much. We are working to improve the quality of the app from a functionality and data perspective.

This discussion forum has been created to enable two-way communication between the MSN Weather team and users of the MSN Weather app (Windows, Windows Phone) around data quality issues users are experiencing with the app. When reporting issues, please be sure to provide us details that will help us diagnose issues faster such as:

  • User's Location (Current or Home)
  • Date of the Weather data anomaly.
  • Type of data issue - current conditions (temp, precipitation, wind) or forecast conditions
  • Version of OS (Windows, WP) on your device
  • Version of the app currently installed on the device

    Hi,

MSN Weather app on my Lumia 735 thinks my current location is in Zabierzów, Poland whereas I am currently in Moss, Norway. I have been in Poland over the weekend but not in this town, although I might have driven through it... The app has permission to location services, and it is also enabled on the phone in general. I tried to manually delete this Zabierzów from my favourites but this doesn't seem to be possible.

    Can you help?

I had a similar problem with the weather app when I first got my phone (Lumia 920). For me I could not convince the app that I lived in Melbourne (Australia). It insisted I lived in London (UK). My work around was to add locations manually and set one of them to be "home". I now have weather forecasts for people I know in other parts of the world. And that is fun.

    Hope that helps a little.

I am having trouble with my weather app with location. It has me in the wrong state therefore it is giving me the wrong forecast.

I have tried both current and home locations, yes my location is on. All my other apps have the correct location.

    Please advise.
