I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade to Windows10. The main use for this computer, is sewing/embroidery software, 4D Embroidery. Is W 10 going to run that software satisfactorily?

2016-01-27T14:19:43+00:00 I have my doubts about the person who said they are running 4D on a Win10 computer. 4D barely could work on a Win7 computer. The software engineers had to do several fixes to get it to work on Win7.
There are now 3 versions of software newer than 4D. If you want to use the embroidery program, I would suggest upgrading to the latest version Premier + Embroidery System which is the newest past 6D Embroidery.
HusqvarnaViking is no longer creating fixes for any version on the market except for the newest.

I have 4D running on a win 10 upgrade from win 8.1 where it work perfectly prior to win 10 upgrade. You have to download drivers from VSM site for 6D to get the dongle and File Assistant to work. Pfaff Yahoo groups ha as details. Or just go to VSM and download
