Solitaire on Windows 10

OK so now I have Windows 10. I have regular old Solitaire on all my devices. I would like to get it on my computer. Not fancy Solitaire games like Klondike,Spider, Free cell. Just the old regular Solitaire game. Can I do that?

    Agreed.

    That was the promise.

    Besides a few kb of data needs the cloud?

    Why not just sync that tidbit instead if storing it?

    The 'can't remember your data if you don't sign in' is weak in its premise for a game of solitaire.

    I have just uninstalled Windows 10 and reverted to Windows 7 solely because the Spider Solitaire Game and the Mahjong Titans game are not present in Windows 10.  I use both of these games as a major source of relaxation and the loss of them is significant to me. I checked out a couple of versions of Spider Solitaire in the Microsoft Store and they were both loaded with advertisements that flashed in your face plus they were inferior in quality.  What will it take for Microsoft to realise that such a simple omission from their mission critical product release is going to adversely affect the take up of the product.

    Is there any way I can load these games as a stand alone product?

    This is not at all helpful.  I do not have xbox (at least I don't think I do) and do not care what it is or does.  All I want is the "old" solitaire, not the hokey one that is now called Klondike, with awful graphics, obnoxious ads and a limit on the number of cards you can play!  I'm sure Apple would be more responsive to their customers' wishers.  But not Microsoft apparently.   Surely there is someone up there in Redmond who knows how to implement the original solitaire!!!

    Since you already own Windows 7 and it has solitaire.  Why not just copy it from seven to a thumb drive and then load ten.  Paste from thumb drive to desktop on ten and wa la you have solitaire

    You already own the license because you have win 7 software and ownership. 

    Check with a micrsoft rep to make sure this is okay to do. 

    I don't know what the law is on this matter.

    I have a PC dual-booting Windows 7 and Windows 10.  I tried this, and it does not work: Solitaire fails to start.
