Solitaire on Windows 10

I suggest you read my post (my signature is there) and you will find that I responded to a specific post by a specific person. I do realize many of you are whining because the "free" solitaire that you remember is no longer there. But it didn't disappear with Windows 10. It disappeared with Windows 8.1 which you would know if you had stayed up to date.

There are many free versions of Solitaire available from the Microsoft Store (The Microsoft Solitaire Collection is, in my opinion, the best but there are many others) and I am sure if you actually look through them ALL and try them out, you can find one to suit you.

If not...you can always buy a deck of CARDS

(You will also find that I have a working profile...yours is blank).

Since you already own Windows 7 and it has solitaire.  Why not just copy it from seven to a thumb drive and then load ten.  Paste from thumb drive to desktop on ten and wa la you have solitaire

I have a PC dual-booting Windows 7 and Windows 10.  I tried this, and it does not work: Solitaire fails to start.

I recently converted to Windows and so far so good.  I enjoyed playing some of the Microsoft games available on Windows 7.  Most disappointed to see that Microsoft decided to leave them out of 10.  I did a search of my C: Drive and found that all of the Windows 7 games are still located on my C: Drive in C:Windows.old\Program Files\Microsoft Games, but the .exe files would not execute.  A Windows 10 game petition needs to be started.

If you've exceeded the trial date (or accidentally deleted the C:Windows.old files through running the Disk Cleanup tool) either of which would make the rollback option nonfunctional you can always do what is called a Factory Reset by clicking "Settings/Update and Security/Recovery/Reset this PC".

Make sure you have saved any new photos or other personal files as well as all your links to a flash drive or somewhere and then click "Get Started" and then "Restore Factory Settings".

Yes, there is an option for "keeping your personal files" offered. In Windows 8.1 this was known as a "Refresh" but remember that option was (and still is) designed to work best when keeping the same Operating System or Windows Platform as it is called.

You want to restore an older version of Windows so it's best to clean it out thoroughly and then let it reinstall Windows 7,
