Solitaire on Windows 10

OK so now I have Windows 10. I have regular old Solitaire on all my devices. I would like to get it on my computer. Not fancy Solitaire games like Klondike,Spider, Free cell. Just the old regular Solitaire game. Can I do that?

    In my opinion, it is dreadful!  It has horrible graphics ..... and permanent, distracting ads on the top left-hand side which can't be ignored. 

    I will not be satisfied until Microsoft restores the old version of Solitaire to Windows 10.

    I DON'T HAVE X-BOX!  I just want the regular old-school Solitaire back - on Windows 10 - on my PC.  Why is it so difficult to deal with Microsoft?  Send me to Windows forums when I need to have someone from Windows actually deal with this. 

    Lots of people on the forums have the same problem as I do.  Why doesn't Microsoft just FIX IT!

    The only one I found that has the Windows 3.1/95 look and feel (including program size and speed) while running out-of-box on Windows 10 is the third-party application "SolitaireXP."

    [Edited 2016-12-18: There's also Windows 7 games for Windows 10 downloadable from winaero.com, which I'm surprised is not marked as the solution or most helpful reply.]

    In 2007, with the release of Windows Vista, Microsoft did away with the classic Klondike solitaire game that had been an indispensable part of Windows since 1993.  They replaced it with a super-fancy rewrite in Vista and kept that one in 7, but they did away with even that version for 10, replacing it with the adware/trialware everyone* loves.  (Edit: If memory serves, 8 and 8.1 didn't even have any games outside the Store app or in the default installation. [Edit again: Got a new 8 system, and nope, not a single game.])

    Microsoft are trying real hard to brand "Xbox" as their all-devices gaming platform, including desktop and laptop PCs, and including trivial patience card games that haven't been associated with console gaming since Backgammon for the Atari 2600.

    *Statistics indicating "everyone" are almost certainly inflated at best.
