This problem has entirely stopped for me. Apparently, one of the updates did the trick and I have no more complaints.
Windows 10 - VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE igdkmd64.sys
Ever since i have upgraded to Windows 10 these failures happen at random times throughout the day. Mostly when i am playing a game but also has happened when watching Netflix. I have checked and updated all of my drivers and everything is up to date.
Sometimes it says VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR, this one is not as often. I have looked online and tried almost everything people have said are solutions and nothing works, and there and almost no solved posts for this problem on windows 10 only for 8.1 and 7. The only way I can recreate the problem is by opening Hearthstone, other than that it is completely random and really annoying.
PLEASE HELP

2015-10-13T10:42:57+00:00 I have installed the Surface Firmware Tool. Does that include the firmware itself or do I need to download that separately? Didn't notice it in the available downloads.
Have tried contacting support but that doesn't seem to work either. If I click the Live Chat nothing happens for a while and then it says "Answer Techs aren't available now. Please try again during our hours of operation". Even though it's within the open hours. If I try getting them to call me it requires a telephone number from my homeland...well I don't live there anymore...:/

Fun fact: when I was having this problem, I had the second monitor plugged into the dock. I would get a failure in as little as 20 minutes.
Right now, I have the second monitor plugged directly into the port on the Surface 3, and it's gone several days without a failure. This suggests that the issue is related to how the video feeds through the dock (presumably through the connectors on the bottom of the Surface).
Try not having a monitor on the dock -- those with two extras, unplug the one. Those with only one extra, try the other port. I'd like to know if other people see similar results. That should at least narrow things down.
