Windows 10 - VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE igdkmd64.sys

Ever since i have upgraded to Windows 10 these failures happen at random times throughout the day. Mostly when i am playing a game but also has happened when watching Netflix. I have checked and updated all of my drivers and everything is up to date. 

Sometimes it says VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR, this one is not as often. I have looked online and tried almost everything people have said are solutions and nothing works, and there and almost no solved posts for this problem on windows 10 only for 8.1 and 7. The only way I can recreate the problem is by opening Hearthstone, other than that it is completely random and really annoying.

    I have had this happen once with my SP3 - same error.  I think that the Intel driver was not fully tested with Windows 10 on the SP3.  This graphics card is somewhat basic and I think that if some intense graphics processes are run it will hose the card and won't reset properly causing the system to restart and BSOD itself.

    I have a Surface Pro 3 and get the BSOD with the error video_tdr_failure (igdkmd64.sys ). It's happened twice so far.

    The machine never restarts afterwards.

    I'm having the same problem on a Surface 3 Pro. I get a BSOD with the error:

    video_tdr_failure(igdkmd64.sys)

    I have 2 external monitors connected but the problem occurs even when there is just 1 external monitor connected. I'm not sure if it happens when I am not using an external monitor.

    I have done as you suggested and uninstalled the display drivers, and let them get reinstalled on reboot. There does not appear to be a more up to date driver available.

    What is the make and mode of the computer?

    VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR

    This error/crash is caused by the corrupt/ inappropriate video card drivers.  Follow the suggestions and check if it helps:

    Let us try to Roll Back the driver and check if that helps:

    a. Press Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc in the run prompt.

    b. Expand the Display adapters section, right-click the display adapter

    c. Click the Driver tab, and then click Roll Back Driver.

    d. Restart the computer and check.

    If that does not help, let us reinstall the video card driver.

    a. Press Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc in the run prompt.

    b. Expand the Display adapters section, right-click the display adapter

    c. Click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall driver.

    d. Restart the PC and Windows would load the generic video card driver.
