Groove Music not finding local files

On my desktop, Groove music is not finding any of my local music files that I have in the folders I have added (mostly my existing iTunes folders).  I've tried resetting the app but still no luck.  Grabbing my OneDrive files with no problem.

Any thoughts?

    Finally I found a solution.

    I changed Music folder to music2 in the Location property page of the property window. The folder still looks "Music" in File Explorer, but its real path is music2. Now Groove recognizes song files in my environment.

    Maybe Groove has a bug dealing with Explorer's library folders.

    I also tried uninstalling and installing, but that didn't work for my PC.

    Uninstall Groove music app and reinstall from Windows store. Google how to use Powershell to uninstall Built-in apps like Groove music. Worked for me.

    Have tried everything to get Groove Music to work properly. Now giving up and removing it from the system. :-(

    groove music has stopped working and has lost all my music I have my music in other folders and media player. all groove music is posting is finding your music. I have had it on finding your music for one day already and it still has not found my music or started playing

    Just to add this hasnt worked for me. This is SUCH a pathetic bug/mistake that it is beyond belief. How can you develop a new program and not test what happens when people add new music into their music folders. Speechless. ( Will add this to the list along with removing the option to pause Onedrive from syncing ). Maybe time to give linux a try.
