Windows Media Player and Windows 10

OK. I just want to clarify and confirm. Windows Media Playerwill be available with Windows 10, but Windows Media Center will not be available.... Right? ( I hope so, as I usually use the Windows Media Player on my Windows 7 PC to play my music)

Yes, and the upgrade from Media Feature Pack for Windows 10 N and Windows 10 KN editions (November 2015) KB3099229 worked exactly as you described.

I just saw that you're a Windows 10 Launch Expert, so -- Good Job!!

For anyone else that goes this route - If you're like me you'll be sure at various points that something has gone wrong, but in spite of long periods when it seems like nothing is happening it works. Pretty typical actually.

About the only thing I can add is that after I got it working PowerDirector 13 video was choppy both while editing and in the final video.

I updated with the latest PowerDirector 13 patch and it seemed to solved the problem.
