OK. I just want to clarify and confirm. Windows Media Playerwill be available with Windows 10, but Windows Media Center will not be available.... Right? ( I hope so, as I usually use the Windows Media Player on my Windows 7 PC to play my music)

2016-10-07T16:25:01+00:00 I had no trouble with 10, but the Anniversary 10 will not play the music I ripped from my CDs. It will play the music I downloaded from Amazon. Not happy with this at all.

[it is shocking to realise that there is no reliable way to identify the latest version of this download - the old info page says which version it superceded but is not annotated to show that it has also been superceded in turn].

Yes, I can confirm that you should be able to use WMP. I use it successfully on both 32 bit & 64 bit Windows 10 computers.
Check your Windows version [see the info on the Control panel, System page]. N / K /KN versions of Windows 10 do not come with WMP and it has to be downloaded - for details, see my post on page 4 of this thread and, if relevant

Check that WMP is "loaded" in Turn Windows features on or off. See WMP - Unload-Reload WMP in Win10 for a procedure to load it.
If there is a problem then ask a question of your own [this forum works best this way so you'll have a better chance of useful guidance being given]. In your question, explain exactly what you mean by "it doesn't seem to work" - describe what happens when you try.
