    I'm also having the same problem and can't get the validation process to work.  The website says "something happened" and asks you to start the process again.  I contacted Microsoft via the live chat and they kept telling me I need a product key.  The guy just didn't seem to understand that the process requires the validation on the website to generate the product key and that the problem is the website isn't functioning properly.  I suspect it has something to do with the upgrade to windows 10.

    Hello,

    The link is working (for) now. It just worked for me.

    It'll walk you through some steps to validate your HPStream and then you get the code for the $25.

    However, it only worked on the desktop IE.

    Actually, people, I just spent the good part of the morning trying to redeem this gift card to no avail.

    I used ALL the help suggestions here, talked to a MS rep on the phone, and discovered that I had to call HP to get help with the gift card. Microsoft AND the Windows APP Store all require a 25-digit redemption code. The code on the back of the card is only 20 digits. The MS CS rep gave me  number to call HP, which is NOT good, and now I'm having a heck of a time trying to find a phone number for HP support that can help me. Microsoft says that HP has to resolve the redemption issue, since they issued the card with the device. - I will update this post if and when I am able to get this issue resolved, and provide that information here.

    no it doesnt' what code do I enter for the redemption? all the offer says is you get a gift card but no code.
