Having trouble finding the Tools menu on Windows 10

Surprisingly (3 years later) it's still exactly where it has been all along.  Perhaps you aren't authorized to see it if you try to navigate to it in your Start Menu's All Apps list.  See if you at least have access to the correct folder this way and then see what you get if you do a search in File Explorer for Tools there.

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

You cannot just do a search in the Taskbar for Tools.  You must either navigate to where you need to go in the Start Menu or use File Explorer either starting from the above directory or use the view of the directory that Kapil found for this thread in the first reply.  BTW you can see the full path from there by using View Hidden Items, locate its Desktop.ini file and use right-click Properties on that.

If you have some other issue with this please start your own thread with your own details.

Last week I switched to Windows 10. I can't find the tools menu. I've checked settings and other areas I've thought of and not having any luck. I need to look over a few things but they all seem to be included in the tools section. Anyone else having this problem?

Another way to get to the tools mentioned above, using Windows10, is to just type 'Control Panel' in the search box, bottom  left, then click on the name.  Then find 'Administration Tools' in the list and click on it. 

It takes you to the same place.....  

I found administrative tools via the control panel (thank you) had to find control panel via Cortana.  Windows deleting necessary functions and now I have to waste time looking for needed functions is heart breaking; I feel angry now.

At any rate, I did find Admin. Tools, BUT, there were many many other segments connected to Tools in a computer lexicon - I do not know where any of it addressed "Unblocking or Blocking" re:   screen to pop-up or not pop-up.  There was no reference in its computer lexicon for me to discern I was in the right place to solve my problem.   

I know, I must stop this horror, wasting my time, software that is not computer friendly.  There must be alternative resources to go to.  I will seek it now.

It was so simple before. just go to Tools, and you will be able to block

or unblock your project.  Why isn't Tools on this Windows 10?

Please advise.  Why did they take it off?
