Press Windows Key + R, type explorer shell:::{D20EA4E1-3957-11d2-A40B-0C5020524153} in Run and click OK. It will open the folder of administrative tools available in Windows 10.

Last week I switched to Windows 10. I can't find the tools menu. I've checked settings and other areas I've thought of and not having any luck. I need to look over a few things but they all seem to be included in the tools section. Anyone else having this problem?

2017-10-13T16:06:14+00:00 Yes, I did figure it out, totally by accident. I hope I can remember now. It is really simple. First, go to Internet Explorer home page. Mine is set to open in Yahoo. Next, right click the settings icon on the upper right. Then click on "lock toolbars." The toolbar should then appear. I hope that is correct. Otherwise, just play around with the setting icon. I think that's what I did after I got totally frustrated.

2017-10-10T10:04:07+00:00 I agree I look back fondly to the years I used Windows 7 simple, straight forward and largely problem free where as windows 8.1 was obviously created by office bound tech clever boffins who had no thought for the many who had more basic knowledge of computers It would have been so easy to offer it in more easy to understand form with one or two tech upgrades for those who wanted a more advanced level, much the same goes for windows 10, why should we have to hunt around for tools and their contents or pay hundreds of pounds to information provider experts, Its high time the Windows company climbed down from their ivory towers into the world populated by the masses who buy the vast majority of their computers.
