No audio Output Device for Windows 10

I just Installed windows 10 this morning everything runs fine expect for the sound, where is it?

I have tried troubleshooting the problem its says it has fixed it but the little red cross is still is cuddling into the speaker icon. I have tried everything uninstalling and installing the sound again.....does nothing. I even disabled and enabled it......does nothing. I must tell you I am not computer literate and would love for someone to just give me simple instructions and a step by step guide on how to actually fix this problem.

IDT - Audio Device - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC - Error 0x8007001f <<<<<<<<< this is the error that keeps appearing. 

Help me Obi windows Kenobi you're my only hope :)

    Im getting that exact same error code myself ( Error 0x8007001f )

    .....only my install continuously just fails and retries to install... over and over.. and never completes...  

    No sound problems for me as yet, but sounds like I have alot to look forward to, hhmm....... soooo... I might be best to just sit tight rather, and not be in such a rush to see it through i think...  (there is nooo wayyyy i can live without my sound!!)

    Time to be 'moving right along'.... now I think.. ; )   It'll sort itself out eventually somehow I'm sure.

    Нашел решение !!! Ноутбук ASUS U31SD обновил BIOS до последней версии. В настройках BIOS есть «Play POST Sound» (играет мелодию при загрузке), установил значение «YES». UEFI включен! - система отлино ставится !!! Звук есть !!! Драйвера все найдены, устройства все включены !!!

    I had the same problem and looked all over for the sound audio output and kept getting 'no audio device.' Tried Dell support update drivers - still no good. Go to device manager and scroll down to system devices - then to high definition audio controller. Open that and you will find an option to update the driver. That worked.
