Hello Eileen. I couldn't find my way or which option to choose to solve the issue. Is a microphone needed or is there a driver for a built in microphone?
No audio Output Device for Windows 10
I just Installed windows 10 this morning everything runs fine expect for the sound, where is it?
I have tried troubleshooting the problem its says it has fixed it but the little red cross is still is cuddling into the speaker icon. I have tried everything uninstalling and installing the sound again.....does nothing. I even disabled and enabled it......does nothing. I must tell you I am not computer literate and would love for someone to just give me simple instructions and a step by step guide on how to actually fix this problem.

2017-06-11T22:05:45+00:00 Hi Carolyn,
We need to identify which option you are looking for to isolate the concern. Are you trying to download the latest drivers from the Microsoft Update Catalog that was suggested by Eileen Gal on June 7, 2017?
We'll be looking forward to your response.

2017-06-12T21:50:15+00:00 Hello, I downloaded, "audio10 Troubleshooter". The result detected a Yellow Triangle beside, "Generic Driver". When I listen to an online video, the sound is very low. Can I reset/restore my PC Settings to fix the sound issue? I never had issues listening to online videos and videos on YOUTUBE either.

2017-06-13T02:32:11+00:00 We appreciate your response, Carolyn! We suggest that you **reinstall**your audio drivers first before performing a reset or restore. The steps on how to reinstall the drivers is under the last bullet on the article. You may also coordinate with the device manufacturer for additional assistance regarding the audio drivers of your device.
Best regards.
