I recently upgraded to Windows 10, I had Windows 8.1 before and did not like it so, I was more than willing to upgrade. Since I upgraded I have been getting the "VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE" Error while playing a game on Steam called Borderlands 2. This Error does not appear while playing any other game and did not happen before the upgrade. Any help with this? I have read quite a few posts that talk about updating the Graphics Card's Driver, but it is up to date. Not really sure what to do, other then downgrade back to Windows 8.1 until I can find an appropriate fix for this issue.

I agree that Mac's are well rounded, but between the price and lack of compatibility for what I use computers for (Gaming Mainly). PC's are cheaper and can be built to specification. There's way more customization, with windows. Mac's are good for school, other than that, they're quite useless, at least to me.

HOORAH!! I think I am fixed I do not know how it happened but now when I run across videos online they worked right away just mousing over them and have not yet failed
I think the latest Windows cumulative update may have fixed it. I haven't had a BSOD in my latest sessions! Hooray!
That would be great if it is the case! It doesn't seem to have fixed it for me, but the error doesn't seem to be happening so often today - or is that wishful thinking?
I Have same problem after update from 8.1 to windows 10 ! NVidia 745m with latest driver for win 10 or previous driver version doesn't matter. after couple hours of online game error VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (igdkmd64.sys) ! The only way to fix it is back to 8.1 where I don't have the same error! I already done this 3 times...but Microsoft does not want to fix it !!!!
