Video TDR Failure Windows 10

I recently upgraded to Windows 10, I had Windows 8.1 before and did not like it so, I was more than willing to upgrade. Since I upgraded I have been getting the "VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE" Error while playing a game on Steam called Borderlands 2. This Error does not appear while playing any other game and did not happen before the upgrade. Any help with this? I have read quite a few posts that talk about updating the Graphics Card's Driver, but it is up to date. Not really sure what to do, other then downgrade back to Windows 8.1 until I can find an appropriate fix for this issue.

    Apparently the only sure cure for this problem, if you don't want to lose any data, is to purchase a non-nVidia graphics adapter. 

    You could also purchase a new PC.

    The problem seems to occur on older PCs with nVidia graphics. Changing either the PC or the graphics card seems to work in almost all cases. If you're on a laptop, changing the graphics is not usually an option, but none of the other suggested fixes seem to have worked, other that returning to a previous version of Windows and installing older graphics drivers.

    The need to return to older drivers indicates to me that it's an nVidia problem.

    Hi guys, I do have the problem too, but I cannot downgrade anymore, because my screen makes small squares and I do not see any features! so please Mirkosoft help us! yours Wilhelm Steiner

    generally you will need to install the previous version of Windows clean, its a good idea to have multiple backups

    You know those people who answer customer questions on Amazon with "I don't know"? Or "I'm not having the problem"?

    Really helpful.

    I DID answer the question. I stated that my issue with TDR resolved when Intel updated

    their driver.

    Nvidia on the other hand may still have a problem.

    And if you aren't an Insider, it's also possible that a newer Win 10 build fixed the issue.

    I am on the fast ring and the last 2 builds have been less likely to crash, but last weeks build still has a lot of of festering issues
