Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Windows 10

I installed Windows 10 and the only program that does not work correctly is Microsoft Flight Simulator 10.  I was told by Microsoft that my Intel 4400 graphics card is the problem and by Intel that they do not have a Windows 10 driver for the Intel 4400.  What are the least expensive graphic cards that will run Microsoft Flight Simulator X on Windows 10?

Since my computer  windows10 upated, my microsoft simulator Gold edition wont play anymore. Cant even reinstall it anymore.

I noticed that case number 1299988518 came accross a similar problem, and the Microsoft tecnician fixed it.

I have just created a clean copy of windows 10. It has been updated thoroughly and i am about to attempt a new, fresh install on flightsim 10. I am hoping its ok with the updates. I will try and let the community know how I get  on. I have a lot of add ons so I shall add each one seperately and see how things go as to frame rates and speed etc.

I have given up on Flight Simulator X and purchased Flight Gear Flight Simulator.   It's a pity Microsoft have done nothing to help people who upgraded to Windows 10 and couldn't continue to use Flight Simulator X

If you look at my posts from 2015, here is what I experienced.

I had the Intel 4400 graphics card, which Microsoft told me would not work, so I purchased from Best Buy a AMD R7 240 and used the Amazon price, and the program still did not work. I called Microsoft again and after she checked out my computer, she transferred me to another department and during the transfer the system cut me out.  Finally on the third call, I got a tech that was able to solve the problem using a scan program that is part of the Windows system.

My suggestion is if you want the Microsoft Flight Simulator X program to work with Windows 10, is to call Microsoft Support (I had used the call back feature, which my calls were returned 5 hours later) and give them my case number which was 1299988518 which should tell the technician that you contact how they fixed my problem.  

The R7 240 is not much better than the Intel 440. take the card back and get a better card which will have much more horsepower. The R7 400 series are better.

if you have a PCI Express cable on your PSU you can consider the R7 260 which is much better suited for games
