Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Windows 10

I installed Windows 10 and the only program that does not work correctly is Microsoft Flight Simulator 10.  I was told by Microsoft that my Intel 4400 graphics card is the problem and by Intel that they do not have a Windows 10 driver for the Intel 4400.  What are the least expensive graphic cards that will run Microsoft Flight Simulator X on Windows 10?

After installing Windows 10 FSX is the only program not working properly.  When I try to end a flight or save a flight the screen goes blank when I press the Esc key but will come back on when I press the Esc key again.  The only way to end the flight is to go to the task manager and end the program.  Also there is no mouse pointer on the screen to operate the flight controls.

I purchased a new Graphics card per Microsoft's suggestion and the problem still exists.  When I place the mouse on Flight Simulator X  Program icon at the bottom of the screen the graphics appear in the icon which it done before with the original graphics card.  I am beginning to believe that it is not a graphics card issue but definitely an issue with the Windows 10 operating system.

It's interesting that you can at least run it although not correctly.  What graphics card do you have?  When I try to fly the screen goes blank and in the free flight start up the plane is blank, however the escape key does work properly for me.

If they send me as the promised the instructions I will post it.  Your problem sounds exactly like what mine was.  If I do not get it, which its beginning to look like, set up a call with Microsoft Support and use the case number I provided.

Guess what?  My MS Flight Simulator X suddenly decided to work - right after I had dutifully downloaded Windows 10 updates.  There was a bunch of them too - and somewhere in those updates MS must have provided some tweaks necessary to run FS.  But before I break out the champagne let's see if it stays fixed.  For the record, I'm running a fairly new desktop system from ASUS, including an Intel 4600 graphics card.  I figured - what the heck - let's max all FS settings, go for a 747, why not a complicated skyline like New York/Manhattan to fly around.  It worked!!!  So far until ...... the next crash on my system?  We'll see.  Stay tuned!
