Error with Windows Update KB3000850

Hi,

This update, KB3000850, is quite large -- something like 720+Mb.  After quite some time downloading (seemed to get stuck at 4% and 90% downloaded), I got error 800700002 when I tried to install this windows update.

Right after starting download, I disabled my real time anti-virus.

Can anyone suggest ways to overcome this problem???

    Hi,

    It's really easy to fix it a 800700002 error is a simple OBJCT NAME NOT FOUND ....

    for me is just the Accessibility folder who was miss it !

    I have tried scannow and DISM and turning off Windows Defender and still get the same error 8024200D when trying to install Windows Update KB3000850 on an almost new laptop running WIndows 8.1.

    The only error entry in my cbs.log file is listed below, with some lines on either side for context. Can someone more technical than me take a look at this? Thanks in advance!

    Had 3 different tech support with microsoft and they were unable to fix issue on my pc  someone should give them info how to fix issue. I am not very tech savy so am leary doing it my self

    Isn't it great that an update NEEDS these start menu items ? They are just directories after all, **** does this update need these to be installed ? Anyway, didn't work for me :-(
