I upgraded to the window 10 tech preview from windows 7 and now my mouse and keyboard dont work once the os loads up and brings me to the sign in screen. I cant even roll back to windows 7 now because I have no mouse input except for when the bios splash screen is showing. Any help would be amazing thank you.

2016-01-25T05:30:33+00:00 If you’ve upgraded a PC to Windows 10 it is not performed a clean install, but an upgrade — you’ll have an easy option that lets you revert to the last version of Windows. To access this, open the Start menu and select Settings. Click the “Update & security” icon and select “Recovery.”
You should see a “Go back to Windows 7” or “Go back to Windows 8.1” option. Click the Get started button to get rid of your Windows 10 install and restore your previous Windows install. Microsoft will ask you why you want to go back.
If it’s been over a month — or if you’ve run the DIsk cleanup tool and removed the “Previous Windows installations” files or deleted the C:\Windows.old folder by hand — you’ll no longer see this option. Windows 10 appears to automatically remove the old Windows installation files after a month to free up space.

2016-01-25T14:01:17+00:00 These directions you give only work for someone that has a working keyboard and modem which is not anyone reading this thread. There is another way that has been posted many pages ago. It involves cutting the power several times until you get into Recovery Screen.

2016-01-25T14:17:43+00:00 I booted to a USB startup disk (which you can create **here,**if you have another computer). My keyboard and mouse did work within that interface, so I was able to roll it back to Win 8.1.
Or....the best solution to Windows 10 problems, is not to upgrade in the first place....
