It helped me.Enable checkbox.
Mouse and keyboard input not working after windows 10 upgrade from windows 7.

I upgraded to the window 10 tech preview from windows 7 and now my mouse and keyboard dont work once the os loads up and brings me to the sign in screen. I cant even roll back to windows 7 now because I have no mouse input except for when the bios splash screen is showing. Any help would be amazing thank you.

2016-01-01T22:55:12+00:00 You can roll back. Just hit power a couple of times and Win 10 will put you in a Repair Screen
Where you will have the choice to go back to your previous OS. And you mouse will work in that screen as it does in BIOS>

2016-01-07T20:21:41+00:00 I brought the keyboard and the mouse to the seller it was on warranty and i got a new one much easier than come back to an old version the keyboard works less than one year and half and it was microsoft product -a cheap one yes but still MS so now i have one who's trust and cheaper than the other one with 3year of warranty !microsoft community can't help if it was a product problem

Hi guys
I have recently upgraded windows 10pro on Vostro 220s from vista to windows7 pro 64x to windows 10pro.However, at this point mouse and keyboard are working fine.
Than I have decided to reset the PC as soon as i have reset it mouse and keyboard stopped working.After that I did clean installation again mouse and keyboard are working fine.Now I have decided to do some test on clean installed environment so, I have reset the PC again and this time mouse and keyboard are working fine.
here my question is that why mouse and keyboard are stopped working after being PC to reset from upgrade environment.However it's working fine on clean installation environment.is this some kind of bug? or reset setting OS drivers has some conflict with upgraded OS drivers setting?
Appreciated any help!
