Mouse and keyboard input not working after windows 10 upgrade from windows 7.
I upgraded to the window 10 tech preview from windows 7 and now my mouse and keyboard dont work once the os loads up and brings me to the sign in screen. I cant even roll back to windows 7 now because I have no mouse input except for when the bios splash screen is showing. Any help would be amazing thank you.

2015-08-31T18:33:23+00:00 I had some issues with the Logitech Gaming software. In Windows 10, when the logitech software starts up, my keyboard and mouse freeze up. Before the logon screen the mouse and keyboard work fine.
Using it windows 8 works fine.
Using my mouse, keyboard and headset in Windows 10 without the logitech gaming software works fine.
Reinstalled: LGS_8.70.315_x64_Logitech still no help.
The only workaround is to rdp into the pc, and hard reset or reinstall.

2015-08-31T21:31:29+00:00 Same no joy with Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse and upgrade to Win 10 on Asus motherboard. I tried all the above fixes including changing usb settings in bios and the best I could do is get into Win 10 after about 7 upgrades and roll backs once. Then overnight when it went to sleep no joy again.
The most expeditious (saving time and spending less than $60) I have ordered a replacement Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse combo. I don't want to waste the time some of our colleagues have spent on this issue. Remember when we upgraded to Win 7 and again when we updated to Win 8? Both times it was months before Logitech could come up with a working device driver for the new OS. Whether Microsoft is inserting malware to keep Logitech drivers from working or Logitech is simply woefully behind in building new drivers, doesn't matter. Fact is the user gets the problem. My new keyboard/mouse will be here tomorrow and I can forget this problem and go play golf today.
I will keep the Logitech equipment and reinstall it in several months when the new drivers are ready.

2015-08-31T21:42:51+00:00 I have a Medion S4209 & after updating windows 7 to 10 had to hold fn key to get letters on laptop keyboard. Was
working with the numbers keypad ON . ie press l got 3.
Go into settings on main menu, devices, mouse & touchpad properties, click on additional mouse options.
Mouse Properties, click on Device Settings.
Disable Synaptics Touchpad on PS/2 - keyboards works correctly now.

2015-08-31T22:37:03+00:00 I have had exactly the same problem but with both the touchpad and keyboard on the latest windows 10 update. In the end I had to roll back.
Curiously the keyboard and mouse functioned in the repair menus accessed via the F keys however once booted in windows 10 the touchpad and keyboard failed to work. I could only login to the system via the finger print sensor.
Windows booted but was unusable since all inputs failed. The only functioning button was the power button.
I tried booting in safe mode(every variant), doing auto repair, and in the end had to roll back to win 7.
Slightly concerned about re upgrading and having the same issue.
