I upgraded to the window 10 tech preview from windows 7 and now my mouse and keyboard dont work once the os loads up and brings me to the sign in screen. I cant even roll back to windows 7 now because I have no mouse input except for when the bios splash screen is showing. Any help would be amazing thank you.

I spoke to soon.  There's been some recent windows update and now it does not work again.

So to recap, nothing has worked in this thread for me.

It is AI Suite II version 2.0.0.0 according to the file properties on the .exe.  I feel bad for everyone with an ASUS computer who are going through the same 4 hour rebuild process when removing the AI Charger+ is all that is needed.  Thanks again.

I have an HP desktop which had been running Windows 7 very successfully along with a Logitech cordless MX 5500 keyboard and mouse. Just upgraded to Windows 10 and am at the screen which says "Hi there, welcome back!" and invites me to click on the "next" button. However, neither the mouse nor the keyboard are working. I've tried rebooting several times, have reset the mouse and keyboard and pressed the f8 button. All to no avail.

have you or anyone else found a solution. Otherwise my computer is now useless!

    Hi Martin,

I've had the same exact problem since I upgraded to Windows 10 from 7 a few weeks ago. My MX5500 mouse and keyboard still don't work after a reboot.  However, a relatively quick and easy work around is to just unplug the Logitech USB dongle, wait a couple of seconds and plug it back in.  After doing this, my mouse and keyboard work until the next power down/reboot. I don't power down or reboot my desktop very often and the mouse and keyboard continues to work after coming out of sleep.  But, to make unplugging and plugging back in a little easier, I use a USB extension cord for the dongle and have it resting on my desk so it is much easier to unplug and plug back in.

So try unplugging the USB dongle for the MX 5500 and plugging it back in and the mouse and keyboard should start working - until the next reboot!
