Mouse and keyboard input not working after windows 10 upgrade from windows 7.

I upgraded to the window 10 tech preview from windows 7 and now my mouse and keyboard dont work once the os loads up and brings me to the sign in screen. I cant even roll back to windows 7 now because I have no mouse input except for when the bios splash screen is showing. Any help would be amazing thank you.

    That's what I've suspected, P8Z68 mobo may not work well with Windows 10 :(

    I've come across a page where a tech wizz says he's a Microsoft partner and even offers a program for driver updates of P8Z68. The page looks safe, however I've not tried to run it on my rig.

    I've emailed him to check if he's sure the mobo is Win 10 ready. Nevertheless, hearing about your experiences, I'll stick to my Windows 7 too at least for the time being.

    I have given up trying to upgrade my Desktop with the P8Z68 mobo.   The upgrade did complete a couple of times early in my 25-30 tries but I needed to pull power and revert to Win 7 as I couldn't control Win 10 without a keyboard and mouse.   Now my machine simply fails everytime I try the upgrade, so I have decided to remain happy with Win 7 x64.

    Motherboard is Asus P8Z68-V LX, keyboard and mouse are USB. 

    Hello everyone,

    How did you go about the fact that Asus P8Z68-V LX motherboard is not compatible with Windows 10? According to the specs on Asus website, drivers available for the mobo end with Windows 8.1 64bit.

    Has anyone using P8Z68-V LX made a successful installation of Windows 10 64bit? In other words, will the configuration work without issues? My other components like graphics card are supported with Windows 10 drivers.

    As it's my nagging problem at the moment, I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
