Mouse and keyboard input not working after windows 10 upgrade from windows 7.

Hello All,

I have the first version of the 990FX SaBERTOOTH amd from Asus. have been running Windows 7 Home 64 bit on a clean install on a fresh computer build in 2012.

Thanks to Randie at Microsoft chat and advanced tier help, the dead mouse and keyboard were fixed.

Running above MB with 16GB ram, 390 GT video card, and 8350 8 core processor, new Death adder mouse and Razer Blackwidow ultima keyboard.

Here was the key to success for my system.

1. go to the programs and uninstall the AS Media USB 3.0 software
2. go to device manager and uninstall ALL the USB 3.0 drivers for each port
3. Reboot computer and verify all USB 3.0 ports are gone in device manager.
4. Start the standard windows 10 update.
5. Enjoy the new Windows 10!!!

Previously had tried over 25 times to do the update with all suggestions in this thread with zero success!

First time with this process and have total success.

The system has accepted updates and has been flawless for 2 weeks mow!

Still having this issue. Also an upgrade from Win 7 to 10, weird thing is my USB 2.0 front drivers (connected to case from motherboard, Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H v1.1) work fine with my Logitech wireless receiver. Same issue as others though, my USB drivers work fine and I can get into my BIOS regardless of which USB ports it's plugged into, but as soon as Windows loads to the login everything shuts off.

My mouse works enough to actually log in with the virtual keyboard, and then the drivers load properly and everything works. No issues found in device manager.

I want the microsoft phone without $$$$ to call . I need the free number please . I want to know without read 14 page in this forum the solution from microsoft about board and mouse .

I will bring back the solution in this forum.

My boeard (clavier) don't want answer to me when i try to choice a langages in french aat reinstallation .

i could use any option when my pc start . like F8 to f 12 .. i can use exist to use the bios setup . Is ok about usb activation . Nothing work at reinstallation with usb recuperation .

I need help in french .

If a day windows 10 recuperation USB or DVD will work to reinstall or repare . I WILL PUSH ON HELPFULL .
