Logitech M510 – Do you have the latest drivers?

http://support.logitech.com/product/wireless-mouse-m510#download

Testing to see if the Event 17 warnings stop may take a time judging by the frequency in which they are reported. Otherwise I think all that should be done is to wait and see if another blue screen error occurs. I do not think that reinstalling Windows is justified.

Please download Speccy and upload a copy of the report it produces to OneDrive. It helps to obtain the report at a time when the system is under pressure and temperatures may be higher than normal:

Please run Driver Verifier –Instructions in link below:

Please upload any resulting dump files to your One Drive and post a link as they occur.

the device is a Logitech cordless mouse

    speccy  has been downloaded

when I ran the verifier all kinds of things started to happen there were 4 crashes

1st crash was a quick bluescreen even before I could sign on

the 2nd was a black screen

the 3rd and 4th was a blackscreen the a very quick blue screen

I saved the only crash dump that was created I also included the speccy files for some of the crashes

I also included the 2 files from the event viewer I tried to save before and after crashes not to sure if this helps or not.

I had to go to safe mode to end the verifier

You need to provide the actual dump files and not links to the dump files.

Please upload copies of your dump files as shared files (excluding any more than one month old or before you used a system restore point) to your OneDrive with a link here.

The dump file will be created at c:\windows\minidump. You may need to change your settings in Windows to be able to see the file. To show hidden files type Folder Options in the search box above the Start button and select View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked.

Place the cursor on a blank space on your Desktop, right click and select New and Folder. Use the desktop shortcut Win+E to open and expand Computer, expand C, expand windows and place the cursor on a dump file. Right click and select Copy. Place the cursor on and click your New Desktop folder, place the cursor on New Folder, right click and select Paste. Try uploading the file in the New Folder to your OneDrive, share it with Everyone and post a link here.

You may have an over heating problem. Core 2 CPU Processor reached 68c. Monitor the temperatures of individual cores using Speccy. Remove dust bunnies from the computer.

Removing dust bunnies should reduce the noise your computer makes. It can also reduce overheating, which can lead to unexpected shutdowns.
