Hi Simon
I am back from a work trip, and I played around with a few settings. I can now get Money Sunset Edition to run in the Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9879.
I changed the Compatibility settings:
Good luck!

As a long term user of Microsoft Money and now Money Sunset Delux I am keen to learn if the programme will still work on the imending Windows 10? I would be happy to resume paying for Money, as for me, this is the 'Killer App' which keeps me on the Windows platform. Does anyone esle out there still use Money? How can we get this fantastic Personnal Finance software continued? or, Have you found a realisticly alternative application?

I don't know that they'll do a patch per se, but they might be able to do a compatibility shim, that presents the altered value to Money but doesn't touch the value that everything else uses.
Hi!
this issue has been fixed. but before doing this step, please backup your Registry first!
To resolve the error, try the following registry modifying:
Goodluck!!
Is this Registry edit a workaround until an update comes out and changes the date back, making Money unusable again?
If this is going to be an ongoing issue it would be best to start looking for something else.
If there was something else, I would have moved to it years ago. I'm personally willing to put up with some small inconveniences to stick with Money.
Though I'm hoping that MS sees that this is something they can easily put a 'shim' into Windows to fix. I think if they had to do something to Money itself, we'd be out of luck entirely.
